Folklorico Descendientes welcomes participants of all ages, from children as young as 5 to adults up to 70 years old. Our classes are designed to cater to various skill levels and age groups, ensuring everyone can enjoy the beauty of Mexican regional dances.
What are the membership options available?
We offer memberships for kids, teens and adults of beginner, intermediate, and advance levels. Memberships provide access to exclusive classes and opportunities to participate in community and private events. All membership pricing is listed below.
What should I wear to class?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Dance shoes or flat shoes are ideal to ensure safety and ease during your lessons. When practicing in a dance studio, dancers must wear ballroom dance shoes. Folklorico shoes have little nails on the bottom of the shoes and will be used in performances and when practices are outdoors.
Can men join the dance groups?
Yes, Folklorico is for both male and female. Some dances are exclusive for men and some are just danced by women, but the classes are for all.
